The Snowmen was Doctor Who 2012 Christmas Special. It was also the 6th episode of the Doctor Who 7th Series. It was  broadcast on Christmas Day 2012 at 5.15pm on BBC in the UK. It starred Matt Smith as the 11th Doctor and Jenna-Louise Coleman as Clara, the new companion.

The episode is set in Victorian times and guest stars Richard E. Grant and Ian McKellen (voice only) as the villains.
 
The Snowmen also introduces a redesign of the TARDIS interior and an update to the iconic theme music and title sequence.
